Students will work together to create solutions to problems using higher order thinking, teamwork, creativity, research skills, programming, and technology. Our students learn that science cannot operate in a bubble and it takes all kinds of people working together to solve the world’s problems. Our community works together, takes care of each other, and helps each other learn and grow regardless of age and gender. We understand that the best scientists are well rounded individuals so as much as we love building robots and shooting off rockets, we understand the importance of engaging in a wide range of fun activities.

Mondays - MINECRAFT EDUCATION: students will learn basic coding skills and create their own games. Coding is a basic literacy in the digital age, and it is important for kids to work with and understand the technology around them. Having children learn coding at a young age prepares them for the future and helps them with communication, creativity, math, writing, and confidence.

Tuesdays - MAD SCIENCE: For curious young scientists who love to experiment. Step into the lab and unleash your inner mayhem! Kids will mix, fizz, pop, and create their way through exciting hands-on experiments. Kids will explore chemistry, physics, and more - all while wearing lab goggles and asking big questions like, "What happens if...?" Get ready for messy, giggly, brain-boosting adventures that will spark curiosity and make science the highlight of their week.

Wednesdays - ROBOTICS: step into the exciting world of robotics! In this class students learn to build and program their own robots using LEGO robotic kits and kid-friendly coding platforms. From buzzing bots to obstacle course racers, students will tackle fun challenges that bring science, technology, and creativity to life.  They will develop critical skills in problem-solving, engineering, teamwork, and coding - all while having a blast designing robots that move, sense, and react! Perfect for curious minds who love to tinker, build, and explore how things work.

Thursdays - 3D PRINTING: Get ready to turn imagination into reality! In this hands-on 3D printing class, kids will learn how to design their own creation using beginner friendly 3D modeling software - then watch them come to life layer by layer on real 3D printers! From key chains and game pieces to custom toys and inventions, students will explore the full creative process: from concept and design to printing and problem-solving. Along the way, they'll build important STEM skills in geometry, engineering, and creative thinking - all while having fun! No experience needed - just big ideas and a love of making things.

Fridays - POKEMON LEAGUE & GAME CLUB: Lovers of Pokemon will gather together to play, trade, and compete in a casual and friendly setting. Trainers of all skill levels will learn, practice, and participate in organized events. Game lovers of all sorts can explore Dungeons & Dragons, board games, trading card games, learn game design and create their own games.

Session Duration: September 8th - December 23rd / No classes September 23rd, 24th, October 2nd, 13th, 20th, November 4th, November 11th, 27th, & 28th.

Mondays: Minecraft Coding & Game Design

Students will be prepared for the future, building skills like creativity, problem solving, and systems thinking, as well as nurturing a passion for play. They will explore real-world issues in immersive and imaginative worlds, develop
computational thinking skills with in-game coding, and build empathy and learn digital citizenship.

Tuesdays: TBD

Students will be able to explore the world around them while doing fun, messy, and exciting experiments.

Wednesdays: Robotics

Students will have a ton of fun exploring various S.T.E.A.M. themes [space exploration, velocity, biology, energy, electricity, etc.] and conducting various experiments, coding, and robot builds surrounding the theme.

Thursdays: TBD

Create like never before! Students will learn the real-world applications of 3D printing in medicine, the environment, art, etc. as they design their own object/toy and bring it to life as a 3D model. Students develop their coding skills as they learn to design, move, place, edit, and delete in a 3D space.

Fridays: Pokémon League & Game Club

Game lovers of all sorts will come together to train & trade cards, play board games, learn chess, etc.
